NHS England is establishing a Learning Network to encourage GDEs to share learning but also to collaborate on developing common solutions, so that they do not each have to reinvent wheels unnecessarily. This will be reinforced by independent evaluation of the GDEs, measuring progress against qualitative and quantitative measures, including digital maturity. It will provide important learning for future work.
